Phyliss is a retired Kindergarten Assistant Teacher and Jack is literally a jack of all trades. Jack is or has been a college professor, international education consultant, facilitator, author, not-for-profit executive, and now, maple producer.
Why the name Mark Twain Maple Works? We live in what is called the Mark Twain Camp where author Sam Clemens spent the summer of 1901. We thought it only appropriate to name our sugar works after the famous author.
